Queenstown is a resort town and a quick look at December 2010 and January 2011 visitor stats tells us that 495,000 domestic and international visitor nights where generated last summer break.
Following the long dry spells of glorious summer weather we’ve been enjoying of late it is likely the Lakes District will be pumping with visitors over the next 2-3 weeks.
Realtors are clearly involved in the service sector and casting aside disingenuous comments I hear about reputed ‘tyre kickers’ at this time of year I’m in-office, in the field and on call. My office fronts busy Shotover Street and as I tap away on my keyboard I’ve visitors checking out the property display posters hanging in my window.
Kiwis have a love affair with property and I have a number of vendor properties open to view over the next few weeks (View Open Homes here) not forgetting inspections by appointment can be arranged with notice.
Queenstown is one of those places visitors simply find irresistible and it’s not unusual to find unpremeditated acts of indulgence whereby clients purchase their piece of Queenstown and get their name on a property title.
